Congratulations to all partners on the Carnelian project, we now have the tender drawings (architectural, structural, M&E). The 3D marketing video is in progress and paid for. A quantity surveyor is now wrapping up a definitive bill of quantity based on the tendered drawings and will be completed shortly. We are doing all this because we are close to approval.
By Friday, we will be preparing for the boulders (rock fence) to reclaim The Carnelian land back from the ocean and protect the shoreline. This will require a huge amount of capital.
By month end into the first week of April, we should have claimed our land and have our billboard ads around the fence for all to see.
As you already know, Lagos state physical planning permit authority has accepted our 20 floors (19 storeys) architectural drawings in principle.
By 1st week in April we will have:
1. Tender report
2. Selected contractor
3. File number for planning approval
4. Approval to kick start sub structure (piles, pile caps and ground beams).
The construction companies to tender are all between Grade A and Grade B contractors:
