Patience has its rewards. By March 2025, the landscape had transformed. The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road was now a visible reality from Eko Atlantic to the Blue Water Okunde Tourism Zone.
More importantly, the Great Wall of Lagos (Eko Atlantic’s sea wall) was extended, providing the permanent protection our site needed. With the land sandfilled and the waters receded, the stage was finally set. The Carnelian was no longer a dream under threat—it was a project ready to rise.
