By the end of 2023, a new variable entered the equation: the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road. As the government began this monumental infrastructure project, all construction in the zone was paused to determine the necessary setbacks.
While delays are often seen as setbacks, we saw this as a value-add. Being positioned along the most significant coastal road in West Africa would eventually provide The Carnelian with unprecedented connectivity. We chose to work hand-in-hand with urban planners to ensure our project was perfectly aligned with the new face of Lagos.
